How can we enhance democratic involvement of diverse target groups in actively shaping their local environment?


  1. Target audience:

Primarily younger citizens who typically do not attend public meetings. / All citizens affected by urban planning but lack influence. 

The municipality, which has an interest in transparent communication with citizens. 

"Funding organizations."


  1. Methods:

Interviews, ethnographic research, iterative design, prototyping, data collection from public archives.


  1. Outcome:

An app similar to Pokemon Go, where the first thing you see upon opening is a map with your own location. You can set a radius from your address to receive notifications about new projects. You can then visit these projects in augmented reality (AR), vote on proposals in the physical public space, and comment on existing projects.


  1. Value creation:

Increased local democracy and improved urban development.
