Cloud-Green Synergy for Sustainable Computing
In an age of rapid digitalization, cloud computing offers scalable solutions, but its vast infrastructure also brings forth environmental concerns. Aligning with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), this challenge calls innovators to fuse the best of cloud and green computing. Can we design a cloud architecture that optimizes energy use, reduces emissions, and leverages renewable energy, all while maintaining or improving computational performance? Addressing this question not only propels us towards SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure) and SDG 13 (Climate Action), but it also demonstrates how technology can be a driving force for holistic sustainability.
