We are pleased to be leading the design and implementation of an online decision support system (DSS) as a pilot project to explore the effectiveness and practicality of an online DSS for NBS practitioners and policymakers. As per the Terms of Reference in the Call for Proposals, we have studied the specifications and are confident that our team has the necessary expertise and experience to deliver a high-quality and effective solution. Our interdisciplinary team, with expertise in the design and development of DSS, and significant experience in the area of NBS, as well as the development of tools for the co-selection of NBS, co-design and co-implementation of NBS, has the necessary qualifications to undertake this project.
The proposed online DSS will provide a platform for stakeholders to collaboratively design and implement NBS solutions tailored to their specific needs. The system will incorporate advanced technology, data analytics, and visualization tools to facilitate informed decision-making and effective co-governance. Our team's expertise in developing web-based applications and their understanding of NBS will ensure that the online DSS is user-friendly, intuitive and effective. We are committed to working closely with the TF6 Project Team, and other stakeholders as required, throughout the entire process to ensure that the DSS meets their specific needs and requirements. We are confident that the proposed online DSS will provide an invaluable tool for stakeholders to collaboratively develop and co-govern innovative and effective NBS solutions that can positively impact the environment and society as a whole.
